Spotin is pleased to announce a new collaboration with the Continuing Education and Lifelong Learning Center (CE-LLC) and the Department of Geography of the University of the Aegean, through the continuing education programme “Geo-narratives in Education”.

The 450-hour programme, awarding 18 ECTS, focuses on understanding and creating digital geo-narratives as educational tools. Participants will be introduced to GIS and will develop practical skills in creating and using digital maps and geo-narratives through modern WebGIS tools, like ArcGIS Online.

The programme is addressed, among others, to primary and secondary education teachers, graduates from social sciences, humanities and engineering disciplines, as well as professionals interested in integrating WebGIS into their work. It is delivered fully online through asynchronous training via the University of the Aegean’s  LLC learning platform.

This collaboration brings together the academic and research expertise of the Department of Geography of the University of the Aegean with Spotin’s experience in geospatial technologies, digital mapping and map storytelling in education.

The programme starts on 5 October 2026, with registrations currently open.
