On Wednesday, March 18, Spotin co-hosted, together with NTUA (coordinator of the GEO-Academy project), the online award ceremony of the European Map Storytelling Competition “GeoVoices: Map Storytelling for Global Sustainability Goals”.

Students and educators from across Europe presented their projects and shared their experiences from this educational journey.

From climate change and water management to cultural heritage and social inequalities, the school projects not only highlighted important global issues but also demonstrated a different, more creative, contemporary and participatory way of learning. Through this process, geo-storytelling became a powerful learning experience, giving “voice” to the schools’ work and allowing them to address modern challenges in a direct and accessible way.

Congratulations to all schools, students and educators for their exceptional work!
