On Thursday, May 26, 2022, the online award ceremony for the 1st Panhellenic School Map Competition “Refugee Paths” took place in an atmosphere of great joy and emotion.
Students and teachers shared the “story behind the story” – their inspiration, team roles and the experience of taking part.
The Competition leaves behind educational seminars on geospatial information, rich storymap resources and a digital library of 97 moving stories (mapcompetition.gr/istories), preserving historical memory for generations to come.
As organizers, we extend our heartfelt thanks to the Ministry of Education, all participating schools, educators, the Evaluation Committee and everyone who believed in and supported this endeavour from the very start.
