GEO-Academy, in which Spotin is a project partner, has launched the 1st European School Map Storytelling Competition: “GeoVoices: Map Storytelling for Global Sustainability Goals”!
For the first time, schools from different European countries are invited to join a common creative challenge: to map – through the power of cartography and geospatial storytelling – ideas and proposals connected to the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Students will be trained in the project’s five core geo-concepts, create digital maps and storymaps, and explore local and global issues related to the environment, society and sustainable development.
Spotin warmly supports this initiative, actively contributing to both the organization of the Competition and the delivery of educational seminars.
