Spotin participated in the annual ArcGIS Users Meeting organized by Marathon Data Systems, which provides free ArcGIS Online licenses to all schools in the Map Competition under the GIS for Greek Schools program.
A highlight of the opening session was the presentation by students from the 2nd General High School of Metamorfosi, who presented their award-winning project “Water is Taught by Thirst” from the 3rd Map Competition.
Spotin showcased practical examples of digital maps and geospatial storytelling in the classroom, and participants were invited to take part in an interactive mapping activity, marking their favourite places and experiencing firsthand how geo-applications can easily be integrated into practice.
