Spotin is a proud partner in the GEO-Academy project (“GEO-Academy: Innovative Digital GEO-Tools for Enhancing Teachers’ Digital, Green, and Spatial Skills towards an Effective STEAM Education for Sustainable Development” – ERASMUS-EDU-2022-PEX-TEACH-ACA), as one of 12 consortium partners.
The project aims to build a European network providing educators with a professional development program focused on sustainable development through innovative digital geo-tools.
A repository of cutting-edge geotechnologies (GIS, Remote Sensing, Earth Observation, Geospatial Storytelling) with freely accessible educational resources will be developed via an e-learning platform. Content will be aligned with national curricula to strengthen teachers’ digital, green and spatial skills, while educating the next generation of European citizens on Sustainable Development topics.
The project runs from June 2023 to June 2026.
