Spotin launches the 4th Panhellenic School Map Competition under the theme “The Place We Live In. Mapping Our Local Landmarks”, inviting students to explore the places, stories and landmarks that shape their local communities.
During the 2025–2026 school year, students from primary and secondary schools in Greece and Greek schools abroad are encouraged to investigate their local history and geography and transform their findings into digital maps and geo-narratives.
The Competition combines research, field activities, digital mapping and storytelling, giving students the opportunity to develop digital and spatial skills while discovering and documenting the places they know and love.
The Competition is running from October 2025 to May 2026 and is open to students from 5th and 6th grade of primary school, middle schools and high schools.
The initiative aimes not only to introduce students to new technologies, but also to strengthen their connection with their local communities and encourage them to see their surroundings from a new perspective.
